How We Make Money
TrustedReports is an independently owned publication. We generate revenue through several channels that allow us to keep our content free for readers:
Affiliate Marketing
When you click on product links on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. These affiliate relationships include:
- Amazon Associates: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon.com.
- Retailer partnerships: We have affiliate relationships with other major retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and various specialty retailers.
- Direct brand partnerships: Some brands offer affiliate programs that we participate in.
Important: Affiliate commissions never influence our product ratings, rankings, or recommendations. A product with a higher commission rate will not receive a better review than a superior product with a lower (or no) commission.
Display Advertising
We display advertisements on our site through advertising networks. These ads are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content. Advertisers do not have any input into our reviews or editorial decisions.
Sponsored Content
Occasionally, we publish sponsored content from brands. This content is always clearly labeled as "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," or similar language. Sponsored content is created separately from our editorial team and does not influence our independent reviews.
Our Editorial Standards
We maintain strict separation between our business operations and editorial content:

- No pay-for-play: Companies cannot pay to be included in our reviews or to improve their rankings. Our recommendations are based solely on product quality and value.
- Editorial firewall: Our advertising and editorial teams operate independently. Advertisers have no input into or advance knowledge of our reviews.
- Transparent corrections: If we make an error, we correct it promptly and transparently note the correction in the article.
How We Test Products
Our review process is designed to be thorough and unbiased:

- Hands-on testing: Every product is tested in real-world conditions by our expert reviewers, typically for several weeks.

Price and Availability
Product prices displayed on our site are provided by retailers and are subject to change. We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information current, but prices may have changed since our last update. Always verify the current price at the retailer before making a purchase.
Product availability varies by retailer and region. We cannot guarantee that products featured in our reviews will be available at all times or in all locations.
